What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Electrical Automation Engineer – Industrial position at Hazelett Corporation?
Our preferred candidate for Electrical Engineer – Industrial Automation is successful in implementing automation system projects by understanding customer requirements, product line needs, and control system architecture. Primary responsibilities include developing comprehensive and robust PLC logic, intuitive HMI screens, clear and concise electrical schematics, and other project-related documentation. Additional expectations include coordinating thorough system testing and debugging in-house at our cutting-edge manufacturing facility.
What you will do :
- Develop PLC ladder logic to automate industrial equipment and create an intuitive operator interface. Typical programming languages include LAD, FBD, STL and SCL. LAD / FBD experience is required.
- Assist and collaborate in the creation and maintenance of detailed electrical schematics for industrial control enclosures and systems.
- Troubleshoot automation control problems and improve system performance at customer sites.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical design engineers to develop robust automation and control packages for industrial machinery and machine control.
- Assist and collaborate in the creation of project documentation such as risk assessments and user’s manuals.
