Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that every drink is made to perfection.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking their orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and reporting low inventory levels.
• Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to interact positively with customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
