Hazen and Sawyer, Birmingham, Alabama is looking for a competent Assistant Construction Documentation Manager to help assemble bid packages, assistance during the bidding process, and process documentation during construction. You will serve as the link between the contractors, inspectors and the Construction Manager. You will be responsible for documentation for projects through all phases of construction. Must have good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Must be detail oriented and have experience with excel.
Responsibilities:
- Assistance assembling bidding packages
- Manage the construction documentation process for projects from bidding through closeout
- Track the submittal process and approvals
- Monitor construction schedules, trends, and projections
- Manage QC daily inspection documentation
- Track and verify contractor's pay estimates
- Prepare field directives and negotiate revisions
- Prepare monthly status reports
Qualifications:
- Excel experience required
- Strong computer skills
- Prefer 5 years of experience
