Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction.
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including planning studies, condition assessments, engineering calculations, design reports, and design drawings and specifications.
- Manage data for modeling and design.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project success.
- Attend client and internal project management meetings.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment.
- Support multiple projects from planning through construction.
- Participate in site visits as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT certification.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Basic proficiency in GIS, CAD/BIM, Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, or hydraulic & hydrologic modeling software.
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail.
- Educational background in water resources, water or wastewater treatment, stormwater, and/or conveyance and collection systems.
