As a recruiter focusing on college and early career candidates, you will partner with groups across the firm to assist with college recruiting and other positions as needed. This is a hybrid position in a regional headquarters office with minimum 3 days/week in person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of career fairs and entry level hiring needs across all offices. Tasks will include coordinating with regional or office staff who register for career fairs; assisting with registration for some career fairs; attending select career fairs as needed; and reviewing and providing guidance or training for career fair attendees.
- Improving a new entry level candidate database, and developing and implementing strategies to maintain that database. Coordinating communication about entry level candidates across offices and regions.
- Coordination with individual offices and regions, including travel if needed, to understand their hiring needs and work with Hazen’s Young Professionals in the 2–10-year range with existing school relationships and training those people to nurture the school relationships and talent pipelines.
- Identifying candidates from job postings, through universities, and through employee networks
- Direct communication with candidates, including assisting in initial interviews, setting up interviews, and serving as a contact point between the candidate and hiring manager, Young Professionals and Administration Staff to promote open communication
- Post job postings for the multiple regions, attracting qualified candidates and supporting regional hiring needs.
- Conduct training sessions to educate staff on best practices in hiring and recruiting strategies, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the firm.
Qualifications:
- 2-8 years of experience in recruitment, with a background in full-cycle recruitment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and with external candidates.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple roles and deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools and strategies, including social media, internal networking, and external networking.
- Excellent data management skills and ability to develop an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices related to hiring.
