We have an outstanding opportunity for an entry-level electrical engineer in our Atlanta, GA office who enjoys teamwork and collaboration, technical challenges, and solving our clients’ most difficult problems.
Candidate will serve as an electrical designer for water and wastewater facility projects and should have an interest in industrial power systems design, including low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout, and related activities.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Working closely with a multi-discipline design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction.
- Working on water and wastewater projects, related to municipal facilities and infrastructure
- Preparing engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and performing engineering calculations.
- Executing redline markups from more experienced engineers, sizing conduit and wire, laying out electrical distribution equipment, and designing lighting systems.
- Coordinate with discipline engineers (process mechanical, structural, architectural, HVAC, instrumentation and controls, and site civil) to collaborate on design and construction activities.
- Review contractor shop drawing submittals and RFIs.
- Performing field work and site visits from design through construction.
- Preparing engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and performing engineering calculations.
