What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geologist/Hydrogeologist position at Hazen and Sawyer?
Seeking a motivated early career geologist, hydrogeologist or groundwater focused engineer to work with a team of other hydrogeologists and engineers in South Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Hydrogeologic investigations, research, data compilation, preparation of tables and charts
- Preparation of reports, maps and figures using GIS and MS Office tools
- Assisting with preparation of underground injection control plans and permits
- Assisting with preparation of technical specifications and design documents for well construction, testing and rehabilitation.

Fieldwork consisting of inspections, sampling and shift oversight of:
- well construction
- well modification
- well testing
- well rehabilitation
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in developing a balanced career skillset to address groundwater management challenges.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate 24/7 field work shifts
- Willingness to travel throughout Florida
Educational/License Requirements:
- Applicant must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology or engineering.
- Applicant's education must qualify them to obtain a PG or PE license following completion of requisite practical experience.
