Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventative maintenance and troubleshoot a variety of industrial production machinery and associated equipment.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and rebuilds on existing machinery to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
- Operate mobile equipment, such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, shop cranes, scissor lifts, and articulating man lifts, as necessary to fulfill maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret both verbal and written safety and work instructions to comprehend required specifications.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Fundamental understanding of and capability to troubleshoot general mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating assemblies.
- Knowledgeable in the troubleshooting and rebuilding of various pump types, such as centrifugal, diaphragm, and piston pumps.
- Skilled in utilizing precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment as well as excel as a self-starter who can effectively multitask.
- Ownership and maintenance of personal hand tools are essential for the role.
- Previous experience in a maintenance position within an industrial manufacturing environment is required.
- A strong mechanical aptitude coupled with problem-solving skills is crucial for success in this role.
