We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Project Management and Engineering Department. This role is crucial in steering Strategic, Developmental, and CAPEX projects from conception through to completion while fostering a collaborative and safety-focused workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and finalize Strategic, Developmental, and CAPEX projects.
- Enforce plant safety protocols to promote an injury-free workplace.
- Ensure projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet functional requirements.
- Collaborate with production units to identify potential projects and provide justifications.
- Work closely with financial analysts and project analysts to deliver timely financial assessments and updates.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to procure necessary equipment and services at competitive prices, in conjunction with the procurement team.
- Adhere to corporate standards for documentation and project execution.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA and EPA/DEP standards.
- Actively participate in mandatory meetings and follow company policies as outlined in the Policies & Procedures Manual for Salaried Employees.
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies.
- Technical knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and heavy industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Vision.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within a multilingual, international environment.
- A four-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Engineering within a steel manufacturing or heavy industrial context.
- At least five years of experience in Project Management.
- Ability to foster collaboration between production, maintenance, engineering, and procurement teams.
