About the Internship

This Summer Internship Program offers students a hands-on learning experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing with one of the region’s top Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractors. We are seeking motivated trade students eager to develop their skills, gain mentorship, and work in a real-world construction environment.

Our internship placements are full-time, paid positions, designed to help students gain working experience in conjunction with educational studies. The Summer Program will run from June thru August with weekly scheduled hours determined by our business needs. THIS ROLE IS BASED OUT OF OUR HARRISBURG LOCATION.

Interns will be placed in one of three divisions based on interest and business needs:
? New Construction – Large-scale HVAC and plumbing installations on commercial job sites.
? Special Projects – Replacement, renovation, and retrofit projects covering both HVAC and plumbing.
? Field Service (HVAC Only) – Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist skilled technicians with HVAC and plumbing installations on active job sites.
• Gain exposure to blueprint reading, piping layouts, and mechanical system components.
• Work hands-on with sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and commercial mechanical equipment.
• Learn service techniques such as troubleshooting HVAC systems and preventive maintenance.
• Understand workplace safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Participate in mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Program Requirements:

• Current students enrolled in an HVAC, Plumbing, or related trade program.
• Must be in good academic standing and provide 2 professional recommendations
• Individuals with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Must be comfortable working from heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Those looking for mentorship, job site experience, and career growth in the commercial mechanical industry.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug test screening
• Must provide own housing and reliable transportation and the ability to work in active construction environments.
