Job Position: Division Environmental Manager (DEM)– Stormwater / NPDES

Location: Charlotte, NC

HB NEXT is seeking a Charlotte, NCbased Division Environmental Manager to join one of our growing teams in NorthCarolina.

Position Overview:

The Division Environmental Manager (DEM) is responsible for leading and managing teams of Environmental Consultants across various projects and clients. A successful DEM will bring extensive experience in environmental management, excel in teamwork, and possess strong problem-solving skills. This role involves overseeing project initiation, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• New Project Starts:Oversee the initiation of new projects
• Internal Site Quality Audits/Quarterly Reviews:Conduct internal site quality audits and quarterly reviews to ensure compliance and high standards
• Additional Training:Provide and arrange additional training based on the results of internal site quality audits
• Vacation Schedules and Coverage Planning:Manage vacation schedules and plan coverage to ensure consistent team availability
• Emerging Leadership and Intermediate Management Training:Participate in leadership and management training programs to enhance skills and leadership capabilities
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Independent Problem Solving:Ability to address and resolve issues proactively and independently
• Quality Assurance:Ensuring quality and productivity across the division
