Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our back office/inventory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with various inventory related tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management concepts and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update company records in accordance with company policies.
- Process incoming, outgoing, and internal transfers and processing accurately and efficiently.
- Perform analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of stock and need to purchase reports as needed.
- Support corporate purchasing functions including forecasting activities.
- Conduct regular physical audits of stock to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline receiving and processing processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Proficiency in common software such as Excel
- Previous experience in corporate accounting or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
