Job Title: Automobile Service Technician
Summary: Automotive service technicians who inspects, maintains, and repairs construction equipment and vehicles for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identify problems with vehicles and equipment, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience
- Test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
- Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications
- Explain automotive problems and repairs to senior management
- Able to service and repair traditional mechanical systems, such as engines, transmissions, and drivebelts and also must be familiar with a growing number of electronic systems such as brake, transmission, and steering systems
- Must have experience repairing and servicing large diesel trucks and equipment

Education/Experience:
Automotive Mechanic Skills and Experience. Must have experience servicing large trucks and construction equipment.
Work Environment:
The job requires traveling to different job sites and locations to service trucks on site or in the office yard. The employee will access the company’s office yard for day to day tasks and paperwork.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
Salary : $50,000 - $80,000
