What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Intern position at HBD Industries?
HBD Thermoid is searching for a Summer Engineering Intern for their location in Oneida, Tennessee. This position requires an individual with a strong analytical mind who would be able to study manufacturing processes and then recommend and implement improvements using a data driven methodology and technical experience. The Engineering Intern will also provide other support to teams throughout the manufacturing facility and will be assigned specific projects as well as a mentor.
Responsibilities
•Support, recognize, define, and solve problems/opportunities
•Gain understanding of manufacturing process controls
Requirements
•College student seeking a degree in a engineering or business related field
•Initiative, professionalism, and maturity
•Proficient with CAD software is preferred but not required
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
