HBG Design is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team as an Accounting Coordinator, working alongside Project Managers to provide job costing, analysis, and accounts receivable while also supporting various other accounting functions.
The Successful Candidate :
HBG Designs Accounting Coordinator role is for an experienced accounting or administrative professional seeking new opportunities. A successful candidate must be a natural self-starter with a positive attitude, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Candidates possessing a high level of professionalism, general knowledge of business accounting practices, and a passion for providing best in class customer service internally and externally will stand out from the rest.
Position Responsibilities :
Interface with firm management, external clients, consultants, and auditors.
Assist in project budgeting and expense approvals within Unanet ERP.
Monthly project invoicing.
Provide project analysis and reports.
Cross-train with accounts payable and assist with other administrative processes related to monthly closing and financial reporting procedures as necessary.
Qualifications :
Four-year degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
5-7 years supporting those at an executive level.
Administrative experience at an Architecture (or related) firm is a plus.
Showcased ability to work autonomously.
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal context, trustworthy regarding confidential information.
Knowledge of bookkeeping, particularly in accounts receivable.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and highly skilled at prioritizing tasks and assignments.
Must be proactive in foreseeing demands and exercising initiative, able to self-direct work, customer-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Excel, a any PDF editor software (e.g. Adobe), and Outlook.
The Compensation :
70,000 - $85,000 per year.
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, regional cost of living, experience, and qualifications.
