SUMMARY
HBK's Principal - Quality Control is focused on enhancing audit quality and efficiency. To accomplish that goal, you will provide technical assistance, independent review, and ensure adherence of all laws and policies set forth.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Master's Degree preferred.
- CPA designation required.
- 8 years of public accounting experience required.
- Significant working knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP required, special purpose frameworks such as cash, income tax basis, IFRS), professional practice standard (US GAAS and SSARS required, Government Auditing Standards, International Audit Standards), and be able to research and resolve complex accounting issues.
- Solid research and writing skills, excellent verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients.
- Experience auditing employee benefit plans and / or Uniform Guidance is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills, communication skills, time management skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and clients.
- Previous experience with peer review and internal inspection processes.
