The CNC Machinist II is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC lathes and milling machine centers to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.
Your daily work may include, but is not limited to :
Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications, including dimensions and tolerances.
Follow quality assurance procedures and processes.
Monitor machine operations and verify conformance using measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
Perform routine maintenance on machines.
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Professional qualifications
Experienced machinist able to apply commonly used concepts, practices, and processes in a Machine Shop environment.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Set-Up Machinist
Experience with HAAS, Mazak, and Daewoo equipment
Personal skills
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable speaking to members at all levels of the organization
Good planning skills and ability to effectively multitask

Compensation
29.00 - $32.00 per hour
