Client Support Specialist / Administrative Assistant

Client Support Specialist ‐ Support the office, Financial Advisors, and Senior Financial Advisors in servicing the needs of the firm’s clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Financial Services/Securities/Broker Dealer experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Familiarity working with Charles Schwab would be a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication, organization, and computer application skills.Must have a proven history of meeting deadlines, and completing projects with accuracy and efficiently

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performing administrative tasks which includes preparing client meeting materials and managing phone calls.
  • Handling client requests in an efficient timely manner.
  • Processing new and/or existing business which includes opening and closing of accounts, handling check deposits/withdrawals, and account maintenance.
  • Being prompt, efficient and complete when carrying out all tasks.
  • Being courteous, pleasant, helpful, and professional at all times.
  • Maintaining a neat and organized work environment.
  • Maintaining records and files in a neat and organized manner.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all clients and firm business.
  • Maintaining good communication.
  • Demonstrating the ability to share information with other staff members.
  • Operating office machines including photocopier, fax, calculator, mail meter and telephone switchboard.
  • Delivering all in‐coming mail and collecting out‐going mail in time for daily delivery.
  • Working overtime as needed.
