The Test Technician is responsible for performing calibration on accelerometers for production.
Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to:
Performs pre-calibration and calibration duties per the product specifications
Utilizes specialized pre-calibration software
All work reviewed and certified by minimum Calibration Technician III or Higher
Performs error free production testing in an assigned area with limited cross functional interface
Measures and records data per work instruction requirements and document nonconformance
Provides daily support to meet the production demand
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Assists other Calibration Technicians and other departments, on an as needed basis
Performs other duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in electromechanical assembly.
Must be to read and understand assembly drawings.
Advanced schematic reading and ability to trouble shoot cable assemblies.
Advanced reading, writing and shop math skills.
Experience soldering miniature parts under a microscope.
Use of simple hand tools such as crimpers and ovens.
IPC-A-620 certification.
Personal Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be accurate and organized with high attention to detail
Good communication, reading, writing, and math skills
Knowledge of electronic principals
Salary : $39,000 - $43,000
