We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Store Person to join a local organization, now operating globally!

The role:

The Store person will ensure all inventory storage, stock movement and system processing tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a focus on ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy and security as well as contributing to a culture that delivers a safe and clean environment for the team to work in.

About the role:

The Store Person’s key responsibilities include:

• Ensure all stock is processed and correctly accounted for in our inventory system.
• Packing and shipping of all products to internal and external customers.
• Ensure all stock is moved and stored and a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintaining and housekeeping of the warehouse and overall facility.
• Carry out all general warehouse and other business tasks as needed.
• Assist with warehouse coordination tasks if required from time to time.
• Loading and unloading of trucks

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in a heavy engineering/distribution warehouse.
• Experience with processing warehouse transactions in SAP. (a plus)
• Driver’s License
• Forklift or other material handling systems Experience (Updated training will be provided)
• Commitment to working in and contributing to a safe working environment for all.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy items

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
