The Hershey Cubs are currently seeking a Head Coach for our Elite Team. This is a seasonal leadership opportunity (September–March) for a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced hockey professional ready to make a lasting impact on and off the ice.
- Bilingual Fluency in French (reading, writing, translating).
- Ability to create and present practice plans in both French and English; familiarity with translation technology is a must.
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Head Coach at the Junior Level or equivalent.
- General Manager experience is a strong plus.
- CPR & First Aid Certified; foundational knowledge in athletic training.
- Prior hockey playing experience at the junior or college level.
- Well-versed in drills, systems, and structured practice planning.
- Strong network of hockey professionals for recruitment and support.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong communicator—able to liaise effectively with parents, players, referees, and fellow coaches.
- Ability to monitor player development on and off the ice, including:
- School follow-ups
- College placement guidance
- Personal growth and discipline
- Proven recruiting ability – can attract high-level players to our program.
- Committed to player well-being – including rest, nutrition, and training guidance.
- Skilled in motivating athletes, enhancing their mental performance, and fostering team unity.
- Must be able to handle logistics, such as travel preparation and skate sharpening.
