We are looking for candidates with an eye for hair designs, including traditional designs, for the aging population. This position involves working in our Long Term Care Facility, with our senior residents. Responsbilities Include: • Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair. • Listening to client needs to determine their preferences. • Describing different hair care products and hair designs. • Shampooing, cutting, coloring, highlighting perming and teasing hair. • Building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits. • Adhering to salon safety and cleanliness standards. • Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the store. Requirements Include:
• Hair stylist MUST have current NJ State Cosmetology license • MUST have 5 years working experience with roller sets/teasing • Hair Stylist must be able to maneuver wheelchair
• Clientele ready “Busy Salon” with great residents • NO chair rental. • Must be a TEAM Player • Compassionate and friendly disposition essential! COVID-19 considerations: We practice All sanitation, disinfection protocols. We are screened once daily. We are asked to stay in the salon, once there as to avoid community spread. MASKS REQUIRED! • Cannot work in other outside salon due to pandemic. Routine testing will apply. Experience: • Stylist: 5 years (Preferred)
Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) License: • Current New Jersey State Cosmetology (Required)
