POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Mentor and train Engineers in training (EIs) and junior professionals.
Review and seal construction drawings for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare contract documents and represent the owner during the permitting and construction phases.
Effectively communicate with Owners, Developers, and Regulatory Officials regarding project matters.
Participate in planning board and design review meetings with regulatory agencies.
Prepare meticulous design calculations and conduct peer reviews of calculations prepared by others.
Create permit packages for local municipalities, NCDEQ, NCDOT, US ACOE, and other authorities.
Draft project proposals and respond to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs).
Coordinate project team efforts, ensuring effective collaboration among civil designers and drafters.
Generate reports and documentation, including Environmental Assessments and responses to regulatory comments.
Oversee project management aspects, including scheduling, budgeting, billing, and client interactions.
Provide construction administration for projects, including reviewing pay requests, coordinating shop drawing reviews, and conducting progress meetings.
Compensation will be based on education and experience.
