The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.)We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of our production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative manufacturing systems, optimizing production processes, and leading quality and compliance requirements. Job Description Key Responsibilities Analyze Current Processes: Identify areas for improvement in existing manufacturing processes, implement LEAN Methodologies to eliminate waste. Design and Implement New Processes for New Product Introduction: Develop new processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to understand product requirements and lead compliance and qualification activities. Conduct Designed Experiments and Analyze Data on product designs and manufacturing processes to improve quality, cost and output. Use CAD Software: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks) for process design, fixtures and equipment. Develop Process Control Techniques: Implement process control techniques and procedures to ensure product meets specifications and processes remain in control. Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on new processes, trouble shooting and problem solving. Ensure Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with safety, health, environmental, and QMS regulations. Troubleshoot Issues: Investigate and resolve any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and equipment. Prepare Reports: Prepare detailed reports and present results to management and other stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) from an accredited college/university. Minimum 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing process engineering or a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Desired Attributes Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
