Purpose
The Events Manager ensures HC3’s participation in tradeshows, conferences, and client events drives brand awareness, generates leads to help develop pipeline, and supports the overall sales and marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, experience in a B2B company, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competencies in strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement company event strategy and plan aligned with company goals, sales objectives, and marketing strategies.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging, high-quality presentation, and engaging attendee experiences at each event.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align event goals with broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop event-related campaigns, social media posts, email marketing, and other promotional activities.
- Align post-event actions with sales to maximize ROI contribution from event investments.
- Define event success metrics and measure the effectiveness of each event through lead generation, attendee engagement, and post-event communications and/or surveys.
- Utilize Digital Marketing and CRM tools to track event performance, lead capture, and follow-up.

Education Experience and Certifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in event management, tradeshow coordination, clients events, or a related role in a B2B environment
- Proven track record in successfully managing events and tradeshows
- Proficient in event management software, CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite), digital marketing tools (e.g., Hubspot), and Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred
- Experience with Jobs to be Done methodology
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Graphic design and writing skills
- Knowledge of and experience with Google Suite
Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
In most cases, work will be performed in a climate-controlled office space. If approved for remote work, employees may work from a home office that is appropriate for focused work without distractions; all remote work must comply with the Remote Access and Work Policy.
Travel
30% travel is required for key conferences and trade shows
Physical Demand
This role will require using a computer for long periods of time while sitting or standing. This role will also require receiving, inventorying, and shipping conference supplies and customer gifts, and setup of tradeshow booths.
Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time position for five, eight-hour days (at least 40 hours) per week. Typical workdays begin at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, and include a one-hour lunch break.
