Purpose
The Manager of Revenue and Payables is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of all accounts receivable and accounts payable activities. This role contributes directly to the company's financial well-being and operational efficiency by leading the team responsible for billing, collections, vendor payments, and expense management. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial workflows simultaneously.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Provide general Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) for the Revenue and Payables team.
- Develop and document Revenue and Payables processes and ensure they are consistently followed by all team members.
- Identify process and system improvements and drive execution.
- Ensure team accuracy and assist with questions and clearing team roadblocks.
- Execute monthly client and vendor financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures and support audits.

Education, Experience, and Certifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field, or commensurate work experience
- 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition standards, and AP processes
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools
Preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration
Supervisory Responsibility
This position provides direct oversight and direction to the Revenue and Payables team, to include assigning work, hiring for open positions, and conducting performance reviews.
Work Environment
This role is based in Irondale, AL and is expected to work regularly at the HC3 office. This position may be approved for some remote work at the discretion of management and in compliance with the Remote Work and Access Policy.
Travel
This position requires little to no travel.
Physical Demand
This role will require sitting and using a computer for long periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time position with responsibilities that may require night and weekend work in order to remain available to direct reports and area(s) of oversight.
