Job Summary And Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months in a hyperbaric environment
• CHT-Certified hyperbaric tech by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• You will perform oxygen therapy treatment protocols as prescribed by physician.
• You will observe the patient and the hyperbaric systems during the course of oxygen treatments reporting unusual occurrences to physician.
• You will accurately document patient condition and the administration of care in the patient record in a timely manner.
• You will take an active role in hyperbaric medicine education programs and orient hospital and other personnel to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation.
