Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join our full-time team. This role requires evening availability and involves working alongside a dedicated group of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the health and lives of people in West Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and competent manner
- Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner
- Record and process ultrasound images
- Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
- Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding clinical findings, history, and test results
Requirements:
- Two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program
- General Vascular experience is highly preferred
- Valid ARDMS certification or RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
