Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide clinical expertise and leadership in the care of critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
In this role, you will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients, instructing them and their families on medication administration and treatment instructions. You will also maintain and review patients' records, including posting test results and examination findings. Additionally, you will administer medications as per physician orders and provide leadership to your nursing team during designated shifts.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure acceptable if applicable
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS certification within six months of hire or transfer
- Minimum two years of experience in CVICU nursing
