Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking an OR Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality care for intraoperative patients. You will work closely with surgeons, maintain patient records, administer medications, and lead the nursing team during your designated shift.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
- Assist surgeons in operative procedures
- Maintain and review patient records
- Administer medications as per physician orders
- Provide leadership to the nursing team
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse (or compact licensure)
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
