Job Summary and Qualifications
The diagnostic sonographer is a skilled professional providing patient services using diagnostic ultrasound under the supervision of a physician responsible for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- One year experience or training in diagnostic ultrasound in at least two specialty areas.
- RDMS or ARRT required.
- Associate Degree in Ultrasound required.
- Vascular Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
