About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)! As a CNC, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift. You will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to our organization's vision/mission/values.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
Requirements
- License as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Minimum of one year prior applicable experience in an acute care setting.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) & ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
