Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist with HCA Florida Healthcare at Home, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care for assigned patients. You will assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, participate in patient placement, and develop individualized care plans.
- You will provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
- You will assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, participating in patient placement and developing the total plan of care.
- You will provide purposeful and skilled interaction care, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician's plan of care.
- You will observe and report patient reactions to treatment and changes in patient condition.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Occupational Therapist.
- State license in practicing state.
- Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance.
