Key Accountabilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing patient imaging procedures, and providing critical data and information to support diagnosis and treatment.
This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure seamless collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare stock solutions of radiopharmaceuticals and related materials according to established protocols
- Implement and maintain strict aseptic/sterile techniques during all procedures
- Function within the Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope of practice as outlined in policy and procedure documents
- Comply with established infection control measures and department-specific protocols
- Thoroughly document each case accurately and promptly upon completion
Required Qualifications and Certifications
- Complete Basic Cardiac Life Support training within 30 days of hire date
- Possess Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification
- Hold Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification
- Hold an Associate Degree in a relevant field
