Role Summary
This Nuclear Technologist PRN position at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital involves preparing and administering radioactive compounds and performing patient imaging procedures using sophisticated detection systems.

Main Duties
- Prepare and develop stock solutions of radiopharmaceuticals according to established guidelines
- Maintain sterile and aseptic techniques during all procedures
- Operate within the Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope of practice as defined by hospital policies and procedures
- Follow established infection control practices and department-specific protocols
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation for each case
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification
- Associate Degree in a relevant field
