Job Description
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.'
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' medical conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by physicians.
- Document care in the patient medical record.
- Teach patients and families about their medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License or Recognized Compact Licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
