Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the direction of the CCU Director or Department Coordinator, performs those duties directly or indirectly related to the application of high frequency sound waves to provide static, real time and Doppler images/wave forms of the internal human anatomy to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathology. It must be noted that the exam diagnosis is almost entirely dependent upon the quality of images presented to the cardiologists. These physicians must have complete trust relative to the quality of the skills of the echosonographer. Sonographic exams are predominantly dependent upon the skills of the sonographer and not necessarily the quality of the equipment used. The successes or failure of the employees in this position lies mostly with the quality of their skills as demonstrated to the cardiologists.

What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Other-Fingerprint Required
- Vocational School Graduate
- ARDCS certification
