About the RN Residency Program
The Nurse Residency Program at HCA Florida Lake City Hospital provides you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment. This paid program will assist you with the transition out of the classroom setting through a formalized series of learning experiences.
You will receive advanced clinical training in a specialty area, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training with a facility preceptor, measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations, and mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.
As part of our residency program, you will work collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project and participate in cohort start dates. Specialties available include Medical Surgical, Progressive Care/Step-Down, ICU, and Emergency Services (very limited).
