Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EMPI Data Integrity Specialist, work from home, you will perform comparisons of data in multiple source system databases and make decisions concerning duplicate data and link data related to the same person under a unique, corporate enterprise identifier (EID). You will also work to ensure the integrity of patient demographics through the remediation of multiple source databases and the Enterprise Master Person Index (EMPI).

What you will do in this role:

• Responsible for producing and mitigating potential account overlays.
• Requires critical thinking to support the integrity of source system databases and the EMPI through the remediation (merge/link decisions) of duplicate data and related tasks.
• Merge decisions are made utilizing logic appropriate for each source system as documented in approved procedures and are executed through the source system.
• Responsible for maintaining productivity logs.
• Maintains or exceeds established productivity standards.
• Maintains or exceeds established quality standards.
• Reports task completion and errors made as required by the EMPI manager.
• Responsible for providing coverage for any remediation workflow functions and/or team members as requested.

What you will need in this role:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1-year general office experience required.
• Previous experience in HIM or patient registration is preferred.
