Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of psychiatric patients.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including medication management and education to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring seamless communication among the care team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current, active Florida RN license or compact licensure (with an active FL RN license within 60 days of hire).
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
- Level 2 Fingerprinting upon hire.
- Previous experience in acute care settings, particularly in behavioral health, is strongly preferred.
