- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, including evaluating breath sounds, airway paturity, and cuff pressure.
- Developing and implementing respiratory care plans, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and selecting appropriate therapies.
- Administering oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy, while ensuring the safe and effective use of equipment and devices.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
