Job Description
The Nurse Educator Labor Delivery Postpartum will enhance professional practice and provide quality patient care by delivering evidence-based educational programs and activities. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or other clinical field, with 3 years' experience in an acute care setting.
The Nurse Educator will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to develop, coordinate, and manage educational programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel. This includes designing and identifying educational activities to address practice gaps, promoting employee retention through orientation/onboarding programs, and facilitating continuous learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development, coordination, managing, facilitating, conducting, and evaluating of onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.
- Design and identify educational activities to address practice gaps for identified target audiences.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs based on evaluation results.
