Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a Clinical Dietician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to lead the processes in place to ensure the patients nutritional needs are met. You will plan menus in accordance with patient dietary requirements and general dietetic standards and regulations. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will :
Conduct and implement comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients.
Assess, plan, write and evaluate patient diets.
Instruct and counsel patients on dietary restrictions / recommendations.
Direct and supervise personnel in the process of planning, preparing, and serving food to patients.
Maintain records of patient reaction to prescribed diets.
Utilize knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities.
Job Requirements :
B.S., B.A. or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
Prefer a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
Current Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Current State Certified Dietitian.
New Graduates must pass the Registration Examination for Dietitians within 30 days of the start date.
