Job Summary :
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in conjunction with the University Of Central Florida College Of Medicine (UCF COM) is seeking a psychiatrist to join their established Psychiatry Residency Program.
Qualified Candidates :
- The HCA Florida North Florida Hospital UCF COM Psychiatry Residency Program is accredited for 32 residents and offers incoming physicians a faculty appointment through UCF COM.
- The Department of Psychiatry includes a 33-bed inpatient unit, consultation liaison service, PHP / IOP clinic, and ECT service.
- The Behavioral Health Center provides inpatient treatment for adults aged 18 and older with acute illnesses requiring 24-hour medical care. It is a certified Baker Act Receiving Facility, accepting both voluntary and direct admissions.
- The incoming physician will focus on inpatient consults and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) care.
- There is a resident available on-site 24 / 7 for consultations, admissions, and emergencies.
- Call responsibilities are on a 1 : 5 rotation, with supervision of an average of 3-4 residents.
- The position involves participation in structured didactics.
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Psychiatry required.
