We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team and lead and coordinate care in our freestanding ER. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during their designated shift. They will work closely with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participating in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Supporting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary.
- Supporting the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
