Job Summary and Qualifications

Imaging Coordinator (Radiology)

Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking an Imaging Coordinator on a Full Time basis in our Radiology Department.

Your tasks and responsibilities as Imaging Coordinator include but are not limited to:

• Direct, supervise and help office personnel with daily routine work
• Responsible for timely data flow and meeting turnaround time standards
• Provide excellent customer service
• Deliver positive first impression to all customers, including patients and staff
• Assume responsibility for functions in Registration as assigned

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency (GED)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 18 months of secretarial experience in Diagnostic Imaging, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
• Minimum of 35 wpm
• Organizational, interpersonal, customer relations, analytical and advanced computer skills
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and read/comprehend/follow written instructions
• Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
