Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our NICU team at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital.
As an RRT, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Perform ECMO therapy to support patients with severely impaired heart/lung function.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
Requirements
- State registration as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
