Job Summary:
HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their esteemed neurosurgery team within a well-established program.
Qualified Candidates:
- Be part of a skilled neuroscience team that includes 4 neurosurgeons, 4 advanced practice providers (APPs), 2 neurointerventionalists, and 2 neurohospitalists.
- Open to both experienced providers and new graduates.
- Hospital Duties:
- Manage a busy neurosurgery service.
- Participate in 3 operative days per week, with a mix of 20% cranial and 20% spine cases.
- Perform bedside neuro-ICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures.
- Outpatient Clinic:
- Engage in 2 days per week of outpatient clinic work.
- Shared call responsibilities.
- Enjoy a high level of autonomy and the chance to work on a wide range of neurosurgical cases and procedures.
- Contribute to a large multidisciplinary team in a comprehensive stroke center and Level 1 trauma center, supported by an excellent neuro-ICU, neuro-step down unit, and neuro floor.
