Job Summary And Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our ER team. The Department is fully equipped to handle urgent and critical emergencies, including multiple trauma cases; cardiac, neurological and pediatric emergencies; orthopedic injuries; obstetrical and gynecological cases; and other emergencies. Job Summary And Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our ER team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Practice, develop and endorse customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
- Serves as the patient and family advocate with respect to the patient’s right to privacy by protecting confidential information.
- Plan and implement patient care and teaching based on a total assessment and the age of the patient.
- Evaluate and document patient response; monitor and recognize changes in physiological and psychosocial status; take appropriate action based on assessment of the patient.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system.
- State of Florida Paramedic License
- BLS – AHA Healthcare Provider
- PALS certification
- ACLS certification
- One (1) year of experience preferred
- Knowledge of body substance isolation
