Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. (if compact licensure must change primary state of residence within 90 days)
• BLS as approved by policy
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) (within 3 months) or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
